Our Statement of Faith
About the Bible
We believe that the Bible is given by God, inspired, infallible, inerrant and is the final authority in all areas of life.
See II Tim. 3:16, 17; I Thess. 2:13; II Pet. 1:21
About Humanity
We believe that every person is separated from God, both by nature and sinful practices. Salvation is only possible through repentance and acceptance of God’s gift through Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith alone.
See Rom. 3:23; John 16:8-11; Acts 3:19; II Cor. 5:17; Titus 3:5; I Pet. 1:18,19; Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 3:24,25; John 1:12; John 5:24
About Heaven and Hell
We believe in the future resurrection of every believer and unbeliever. Believers will enjoy eternal life in heaven, while unbelievers will be separated from God, in hell forever.
See John 5:28,29; Rev. 20:10-15; Phil. 1:23; Rev. 22:4,5; II Thess. 1:8-10
About God
We believe in one God; eternal, coequal and revealed in 3 persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God the Father is over all and works everything according to His sovereign purpose. God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the Saviour of the world and has sent the Holy Spirit as our Helper. He has adopted us as His children and made us to be co-heirs with His Son, Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and Man, eternally existed, born of a virgin and sinless. He died, was buried, rose again, ascended and will return for his church. He is our substitute and mediator.
We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, sealing us when we are saved. The Holy Spirit guides, convicts and encourages.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return soon to rapture the church, followed by a period of tribulation, and His personal return to earth to judge the world and rule in righteousness.
We believe in the Sovereignty of God and the free will of man. Although difficult to grasp, both are equally true.
We believe in the sufficiency and unlimited sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which is available to all people, recognizing that not all receive this salvation.
