Our first service every Sunday is the Communion Service beginning at 9:30 am The Communion Service is focused on remembrance of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary. We obey Jesus command to “do this in remembrance of Me (1 Corinthians 11:24) and believe that this time of remembrance is critical to the spiritual well being of every believer and of the church fellowship in its totality. We encourage each person in fellowship to attend often. You can find out more about the communion service by following this link. A nursery is available for those under the age of 4.
At 10:30 am we enjoy coffee, refreshments and fellowship in the front foyer. Its a time to catch up on what is happening in other people’s lives and get to know people at Southdale.
The main Sunday service starts at 11:00 am in the main auditorium with music. Our music is a mix of contemporary and traditional Christian songs, led by a music team consisting of piano, guitar, percussionist and vocalists. The time of singing usually lasts until about 11:25 at which time a sermon is presented by our speaker. We often follow a series whether a Bible book study or a Biblical topical study.
